Titan of intellect. Coeüs (Coeus) was the son of Uranus and Gaea. He married his sister Phoebe and became the father of Leto and Asteria.

Coeüs seemed to be the god of intellect.

When Zeus overthrew Cronus and the other male Titans, Coeüs was confined with his brothers and nephews in Tartarus.
